For a project in my first year we had to create a new product promtiong this product in a way in which we desired. i decided to go do the route of body art/Tattoing to promote a new range on sunglasses for the brand i selcted diesel... as i like the way in which they go way out for their advertising "they think outside of the box" which to me make them unique, whilst always taking them to a higher level in the whole concept in which they create.... A world of there own... always inventing and producing different and controversal ideas with a usual shock reaction . Normal is not a word that you would associate to there campaigns and this is what i particually like about the brand.
I decided to use the tatto as the image of the product that was to be promoted.... an easy and achieveable idea... Luckily my brothers freind is a tattoist and he was willing to give it ago, using a tranfer i drew up of the shades . This allowed the image to be brought to life and actually look as if the person had be inked ! i do like these images more so in black and white ones as the orgnial colour didnt seem to give as much as an effect. I feel with this idea "i thought out side of the box" and created some work that was unique.
